WOW… that’s all I can say to decribe this movie. I have to give much credit to Bret Ratner, the new director of the X-Men saga and known for the Rush Hour series did an excellent job of keeping this movie true to form and just as exciting. I am truely speechless. To be honest, I was a little worried about this film cause the director before this, Bryan Singer, had a definate style to this series and presented the first two movies in a realistic way that preserved the most of the comic book flare, but Bret did an even better job than Bryan I think. With that in mind… I have to say X-Men 3 is the best of this series thus far. It is also the best movie I have seen this summer so far, which wasn’t a hard to do. Fans of the comic and Sci-Fi fans alike will LOVE this film. Now, if you are just waking up from the a coma and haven’t seen X-Men 1 and/or 2, go rent them and then go see X-Men 3. You will love this series. Hands down this film gets a 9 out of 10. The SFX, action, everything was just perfect. I loved reliving my childhood days of reading the comics and watching the TV show.
Oh… oh… and if you are going to the theatre to see this movie, you MUST watch all of the credits and see the scence at the end of this movie. It is about 20-30 seconds and it is well worth the wait. And if you seen the movie and didn’t wait through the credits, go see the movie again (cause it is that good) and then watch the credits and see the scence at the end of the movie. 🙂
