Elicia and I went to Ironman yesterday. I have to say, what I don’t understand why Marvel comics based movies are so much better than DC comics (except for Batman). Superman Returns just wasn’t like the entertaining and quite humorous Jon Stark. Ironman has everything you would want in a superhero movie, a good alter “ego”, a villain with no mercy, and action sequences that just blow you away. Plus, ILM did all the SFX and CG work. You can’t ask for anything better than that. Except for maybe Clone Wars which comes out August 15th!!!!
Bottom Line: Ironman is a good time, definitely worth the money. Oh oh.. and make sure you stay for the scene after the credits, you will not be disappointed. I give this a 7.5 out of 10. Good plot, good performances, and the sequel for this film will not be even better than this.
