On Friday my brother and I went and saw Inside Man with Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, and one of my personal favorite new actors Chiwetel Ejiofor who was the villian in Serenity. This is a very clever movie, and the writing is quite good. I can’t believe Ebert didn’t like this movie (Roeper is my hero), maybe he just doesn’t like Spike Lee movies. Anyways, I thought that this movie was well filmed and it kept me engaged all the way to the end, which was also very good. It reminded me a little of a M. Night Shyamalan type of a movie which you find out everything at the end, thinking about the movie well after it is over. I must see this again so I can see it in a whole new light. I give this movie a 8 out of 10. This is a film that both male and female audiences will like (or at least I would think), and I dare say one of Spike Lee’s best movies.
