I just bought the new MacBook Pro M5 Pro this weekend and I have to say that the performance is better than even I anticipated. Apple claims that the fusion architecture is “a monumental leap forward for Apple silicon” and I believe it. When I moved from Intel to M1, the performance was not quantifiable. I have had that laptop since it came out in 2021 and I have not wanted to upgrade… UNTIL today.
There is definitely no buyers remorse here. My assessment so far is that If you have an M1 Mac of any kind, you will see the same increase since the last bump.
Finally… don’t get me started on the MacBook Neo. A $600 Mac laptop… INSANELY GREAT!
