Went on Monday with my friend Audra to see Silent Hill and I would say that it was actually a well put together movie. Radha Mitchell who plays Rose looks looks a lot like Heather from Silent Hill 3, which made this movie better for all the fans of the game. It has also been mentioned that many of the soundtracks used in the Silent Hill games were used in this movie. Sean Bean also did an excellent job as well. Overall, the cast in this movie was amazing (really close to the characters in the game) and if they make a sequel, it will make for a good movie.
Okay, so I guess I give this one a 6 out of 10. You really have to be a fan of the Silent Hill game series in order to really enjoy this movie fully. I happened to play/watch the first two Silent Hill games and have to say that I liked watching this film, but thought it was no where close to as suspense level/scaryness as the game series. Bottom line: If you enjoyed any of the Silent Hill games, you will like this film. If you are a fan of horror films, this one is also for you cause it isn’t your typical stupid scary movie.
