Friday my brother, my roomate, and I went and saw Cars. Lemme tell ya something… I would drive for miles over busted glass to see that picture there again. I truly had a good time watching this film. Pixar has definately rasied the bar (agian) on digitally animated films. This movie was not only good plot wise, but the look and the personality of the animation was top notch. I don’t know what it’s like to make one of these films, but I am sure the animators for Cars had a good time. The other thing that made this film great was the personality of the voice actors in conjunction with their animated conterparts. I didn’t feel like this was forced. Trying to personify a car isn’t that complicated, but trying to make that car “look” and behave like Owen Wilson, is another. You can definately see the care they took in Cars to make this happen. Okay, so to the point. Go see this film… take your younger cousins, neices, nephews, sons, daughters, anyone who under 12 if you need an excuse to see this picture. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I give this film an 8.5 out of 10. So nice, you might want to see it twice… Oh and I just found out today that Apple is sponsoring one of the stock cars in the film, you have to pay really close attention to see it. I didn’t see it the first time cause I was wigging out about Dale Jr. being in the film 🙂
