MacBook!!!!

Well... all I can say is wow. Apple has really outdone themselves this time. The new MacBook is a thing of beauty. I am blogging about this so I don't end up buying one, but yeah I can't believe this thing. 5X faster than the old iBooks and a stunning black look. Lenovo, watch out cause Apple has definately put themselves on the map with this laptop. Thinkpads have nothing on this. By far the best looking laptop I have seen. Of course nothing can top the iMac G4 when it came out.

Well... saw this on Digg: Honda Civic UK commercial. Click on the watch button and check it out. This is amazing! It reminds me a lot of the Honda Cogs commercial. Why can't some of the commecials in the US be like the ones in the UK?

Well... it's now offical. There will be an Apple Store in Omaha!!! A pretty reliable source, Think Secret, has come out and stated that of the 40 new Apple retial stores planned to come out this year, Omaha, NE is on the list. I am SOOO excited. My brother and I, have for the last year and a half or so, gone to the Apple Store in Des Monies hoping for the day we w2ouldn't have to make the long trip anymore. Well that dream will come true. I didn't want to get my hopes up too much after being told at a CompUSA that there would be an Apple Store, but now they are cause there is a list and Omaha is on it. :) Happy Days are here.

Well... Google Local on a Cellphone. This is unbelievable. I am glad something like this is available and since I will be shopping for a new phone soon I must have one that supports this feature. I am sooooo excited about this. Local maps and directions to anywhere, from your phone. AND it's FREE... Only in America :)

My Best Week Ever

Well, well, well... this has definately been my week. So Monday, FDR had a random drawing for best costume. Yours truly dressed up as Master Jedi Chase Windu (Mace's younger cousin) and I won a $10 gift certificate to Target. Secondly, last week I had entered a contest on mymac.com podcast show and the hosts Tim and Chad (who are totally awesome by the way) called me yesterday to tell me I won Macromedia Studio 8. So that's 2 yes TWO random drawings in 1 week. This has to be my best week ever because today, I am on my way to California to see my best buddy, Tim. This is totally excellent because I have never seen the ocean before (yet alone been to a costal city) and Tim lives a few miles away. I feel so blessed right now.

Podcasts are awesome!! I am subscribed to at least 5 that I listen to regularly. My favorite is TWiT - This week in Tech with Leo Laporte and the gang. This is the funnest most informative podcast out there. Others I listen too are diggnation, Security Now, the MacCast, and Ebert and Roeper.

Was browsing today and found a blog that had a link to the Social Security office which had the most popular baby names. You can see the top 5 names for each state as well as find out what the most popular baby names for each year and decade. Interesting note: my name was 15th, the highest of the decades listed, in the 1930s. Currently, my name is 106th this millenium. I would like to welcome the 18,668 Kenneths born in the last 5 years to the USA.

I was watching the Apple WWDC(World-wide Developer's Conference) yesterday and today and I am in awe by the fact that Apple has been running OS X on Intel processors ever since the first version of OS X 10.0. Actually, I shouldn't be surprised that Aptels have been made because Steve Jobs is the man and Apple is the best computer company in the world... Apple rules. :)
