What is Kashier?
Kashier is an open source widget that gives you the ability to quickly record a grocery list of items that you
may or may not want to purchase in the future. It is also very different than a calculator in the sense that it
will keep track of taxed and non-taxed items by a push of a button. Kashier is also designed to allow you to
change the tax rate, open mulitiple copies of the widget to allow for separate independent lists, and export
your list (in HTML format) for easy printing or emailing.

With the release of Leopard, Kashier has taken an all new unified look. I am so excited about the 300+ new features and I can't wait to get more experience with it. Enjoy the new Kashier, and go out and get yourself a copy of OS X Leopard. You won't regret it.

I am pleased to announce that according to my numbers... Kashier has been downloaded over 3000 times. I am really excited for the future of Apple with Leopard and Dashboard widget development. The future is bright and I am trying my best to contribute my part to that. It makes me so happy that a lone developer with a passion for helping people and wanting to make life better can do that in a small way. I am encouraged by what I see in technology and I am looking forward to contributing more to this constantly thriving community. Thanks to all who use Kashier. More to come soon.

New Support Procedure

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am forced to change the support of Kashier. So I have to pull the Kashier Support Forums and support Kashier on an email basis for the time being. I have plans to create a newsgroup or mailing list feed in the future, if needed but I would have to set that up. Thanks to all who use Kashier and have a Happy New Year.

A New Year, A New Version

After much contemplation I have decided to release Kashier Version 1.1. This version now has an export feature which allows you to save your Kashier lists to the Desktop. It's a really cool feature because now you can print off your list in your favorite browser or email it to your friends and family. So go to the Download

All I can say is WOW. I didn't expect this... within the first month of release I have topped 500 downloads. Thanks to all that use Kashier and I plan to make updates to the source soon. Stay tuned for new features and updates.
